Agribusiness

Agriculture is a cornerstone of Somalia's economy and food security. ASAS Agribusiness supports agricultural development through integrated solutions that improve productivity, strengthen rural economies and promote sustainable land use. The division develops farms and agricultural infrastructure — land preparation, greenhouses, mechanised farming, soil improvement and post-harvest facilities — and designs and installs the irrigation systems that make them viable, from drip and sprinkler to centre pivot and automated pumping. Our approach favours climate-smart practices and efficient resource use, so that yields improve while water consumption falls and land remains productive over the long term.
