This scheme replaces flood irrigation with impact sprinklers on vegetable land at Afgooye.
ASAS GROUP LTD is supplying and installing the pump station, the mainlines and the sprinkler laterals. The sprinklers stand on risers along each lateral and water the beds in overlapping arcs.
The first blocks have been planted with seedlings and are being irrigated. Installation is continuing block by block across the rest of the land.
