Hodan Residential Tower Moves Into External Finishing
The concrete frame and blockwork of the 14-storey Hodan Residential Tower are complete on every floor, and work has moved to the outside of the building.
Hodan Residential Tower, a 14-storey apartment building in Hodan District, Mogadishu, has moved into external finishing. ASAS GROUP LTD is the main contractor for the full build, from foundations to handover.
The reinforced concrete frame and the blockwork are complete on every floor. Work is now focused on external render, windows and the building services, with scaffolding still in place on two elevations.
The tower stands on a corner plot with almost no laydown space, so materials are delivered floor by floor to an agreed schedule, and the tower crane was removed as soon as the roof slab was cast.
